Disney Infinity Vision at Showcase Cinemas
Disney Infinity Vision is a quality certification program created by The Walt Disney Company for Premium Large Format (PLF) theaters.
Showcase Cinemas’ Premium Large Format (PLF) experiences are Infinity Vision certified. To earn this certification, cinemas must meet strict technical standards, including the use of 4K laser projection for superior brightness, maximum scale screens, and premium immersive audio formats like Dolby Atmos guaranteeing an exceptional film presentation.
Infinity Vision Certification Requirements
- Screen: Minimum of 45 feet wide
- Sound: Theaters with either Immersive sound (like Dolby Atmos) or 7.1 sound
- Projection: Theaters with brightness levels reaching either 14 footlamberts in 2D and/or 6 footlamberts in 3D
