What is Showcase MX4D®?

The unique motion and special effects in the Showcase MX4D® theater immerse you in the on-screen action like never before.
Please be aware of the following regarding the motion and effects experience you are about to enjoy:

  • You must be at least 40” tall and able to sit and support yourself on your own to use the MX4D® seats in this theater.
  • Your MX4D® seat will move throughout the movie in response to the action on the screen.
  • Your MX4D® seat may tilt forward and backwards, up, down, and side to side.
  • Your MX4D® seat includes neck and leg ticklers, back and seat poppers, air and water blasters, and seat rumbling which may activate during the movie.
  • The MX4D® seats in this theater may be harmful to persons who may be or are pregnant; persons with heart conditions; elderly persons and persons with back, head, or leg conditions or injuries or other physical limitations; persons with difficulty with balance, standing, or walking; and persons with scent or fragrance allergies or reactions to strobe light and fog effects.
  • Other effects that you may experience during the movie include strobe lighting, fog, wind, and different scents.
  • No lap seating is allowed.  Only 1 person per seat.
  • Please remain seated for the entire movie as a courtesy to others.
  • If you have to leave your seat or the theater during the movie, please exercise caution and care as the MX4D® seat may be moving when you get out of or return to your seat.

If you are unable or unwilling to enjoy the 4D Motion EFX Theater experience or if you have any questions or concerns about this experience, please contact theater management staff before the movie and experience begins.

What is Event Cinema and how do I purchase tickets?

Event Cinema is offered at select Showcase Cinemas theater locations and allows guests to view special events on the movie screen. Experience live boxing matches, concerts from top musical artists, the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Ballet, and more from the comfort of your nearest Showcase Cinemas. Do you offer technology for the hearing and visually impaired?
What age qualifies for your admission categories?

For all locations except Showcase SuperLux, the child admission is for children 11 years of age and younger. Senior admission is for patrons 60 years of age and older. All others are general admission.

What is the Showcase SuperLux Age Admittance Policy?

Showcase SuperLux now proudly welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy the comfort and service of our SuperLux seating regardless of the showtime.

Are costumes allowed at Showcase Cinemas?

Showcase Cinemas does not permit masks, face paint, weapons, or any item that may make our guests feel uncomfortable or detract from others enjoying their movie going experience. Our guests are welcome to come dressed in costume with movie related accessories however we reserve the right to respectfully inspect all items that our guests may decide to bring with them.

What is your ratings policy?

Showcase Cinemas enforces and supports the ratings system outlined by the Motion Picture Association of America. Visit filmratings.com for more information

TICKETING

How much do movie tickets cost at my Showcase Cinemas location?

Ticket prices vary by location and may change based on time of day as well as available services and options. You will be able to view the total cost of your tickets before completing your purchase online.

How do I cancel an order or request a refund?

If you have purchased your tickets directly from SHOWCASE CINEMAS via the box office, our mobile app, or via ShowcaseCinemas.com you may return your tickets directly to the theater box office. Refunds will only be issued prior to showtime. There are no refunds after printed showtime. You may call 201-285-1908 or contact us here to initiate a refund. Refunds will be issued to the form of payment used in the original transaction, including Starpass earned rewards. Only the ticket price will be refunded; service fees paid for online and mobile purchases are not eligible for refunds.

If you purchased tickets via FANDANGO, you may self-initiate a refund prior to show start via the phone number below. Refunds after show start must be requested by theater management on the customer’s behalf.

To request a refund from ATOM, please follow the steps below. You may cancel an order up to 30 minutes before showtime. The charges will be refunded in 3–5 business days. If you need to cancel an order after the movie has started, contact a theater manager or Atom customer support at 1-844-838-6284.

If you redeemed a promo code or discount and then canceled the order, you’ll be able to reuse the code or discount if it is still valid. If you are not able to reuse the code or discount contact Atom customer support at 1-844-838-6284.

In the Atom app:
1. Tap the main menu at the top left of the screen
2. Tap on “Tickets & Invites”
3. Tap on “View Tickets”
4. Tap “Cancel Order”


If you’re using the app version that shows the dynamic wheel on the main page:
1. Tap the main menu at the top left of the screen
2. Tap on “My Tickets and Rallies”
3. Tap on “View Event”
4. Tap “View Your Order”
5. Tap on “Cancel Order” at the bottom of the “Your Order” page


On the Atom website:
1. Log in and click the arrow for the dropdown menu at the top right, next to your name
2. Click “My Tickets and Invites,” select the movie then “View Ticket”
3. Under Info click “View Your Order Details”
4. Scroll to the bottom to find the “Cancel Order” button

Can I book advanced movie tickets?

Showcase Cinemas offers the option for purchasing advanced movie tickets for movies now playing and select movies coming soon. Check out your local theater’s movie schedule for a list of movies and showtimes.

What is reserved seating?

When you purchase your tickets online, you will often be presented with the option to choose which seats you’d like to reserve. This eliminates the need to wait in line for popular movies and allows you enough time before the movie to eat or purchase concessions. In addition, knowing exactly where you’re sitting eliminates the need to search for the best available seats when entering the theater.

What is "PRINT AT HOME"?

Select locations allow you to print your movie ticket on your personal printer, at home, at school or in the office. This option will be available to select on the purchasing page. Take your movie ticket confirmation sheet to the usher who will scan the bar code for admission.

Can I purchase movie tickets on my smart phone or mobile device?

ShowcaseCinemas.com is optimized to see showtimes, buy tickets and watch trailers from your smart phone or mobile device. Download free mobile apps for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and Android phones. You can also browse the web site on your mobile device at www.showcasecinemas.com.

Can I purchase movie tickets by telephone?

Yes, ShowcaseCinemas.com offers a touch-tone phone service. When Internet access is not available, you may purchase movie tickets via telephone by dialing 1-800-315-4000.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Do you offer in-theater dining options?

While all theaters offer concessions, several of our movie theaters offer food as well as alcohol for purchase at your seat. Please view our dining options for more information on options available at your local theater as well as menus.

How does in-theater dining work?

Several theaters with dining options will serve you at your seat. A server will provide you with menus and take your order when ready. Other theaters feature restaurants, bars, and food court concessions with the option to purchase your food and drinks outside the theater to take to your seat. DISCOUNTS AND REWARDS PROGRAMS

What is Starpass?

With the Starpass Program, customers earn a 10% reward on nearly every purchase including tickets, food and beverage. For every $50 spent on eligible purchases, Starpass members receive a $5 reward to spend on the purchase of their choice*. Membership is FREE and open to all movie patrons ages 13 and up. Do I earn Starpass rewards on concessions and in-theater dining?

Yes. Starpass members earn 10% on food and beverage purchases including in-theater dining at participating locations. Members also earn rewards for purchase made on tickets at ShowcaseCinemas.com, the Showcase app, and partners including Fandango and Atom Tickets.

 

What is The Popcorn Club?

The Popcorn Club is a fun and exciting club for kids and families offering great prizes, exclusive events, and special offers all year long. The club is designed for children 11 years of age and younger. Register Online or at a participating theater. The Popcorn Club is available at select locations.

Do you offer a Military Discount?

Showcase Cinemas offer a military discount to all active duty personnel and their dependents at all locations except Showcase SuperLux in Chestnut Hill, MA. The special military program pricing is $7.50 for general admission and $5.50 for matinee and children. Appropriate Active Service ID must be presented at the theater box office to receive the military discount.

What is Bargain Tuesday?

Bargain Tuesdays discount admission applies to all movies every Tuesday. Some restrictions apply. Read more.

What is Senior Wednesday?

Senior Wednesdays offer patrons 60 years of age and older a discounted price at select theaters every Wednesday. Some restrictions apply. Read more.

Do you offer discounts on movie tickets for large groups?

We offer group ticket sales for those looking to purchase 25 or more tickets. Please contact us for more information.

GIFT CARDS

How can I purchase gift cards?

Gift cards may be purchased online, at the theater box office or at the customer service desk. Gift cards may be loaded with $5 to $200 of value and used for purchases at our theater box office, concessions stands, food courts and in-theater restaurants.

How do I check my gift card balance?

You can check the balance of your gift card online. You may also get the balance information from any box office cashier or customer service representative or by inserting the gift card into any of the lobby ticket kiosks.

May I purchase bulk gift cards?

Yes. You may purchase bulk gift cards for corporate use from our online store.

CORPORATE AND BUSINESS

May I rent out a theater for an event?

We rent out theaters for a number of corporate events including meetings, conferences, product launches, and trade shows. Full service catering is also available. For more information on how to rent a movie theater from Showcase Cinemas, please contact us directly.

How can I advertise in your theaters?

I am not receiving emails I subscribed to receive. What do I do?

You may have a firewall or spam blocker that is preventing the email delivery. Users of email providers such as AOL, Yahoo, and Hotmail have the option of blocking all email messages that originate outside of their domain. You may need to add updates@showcasecinemas.com to your address book if you have spam blockers.
