Showcase Gift Card FAQ's

What are Gift Cards? 
Gift Cards are pre-paid debit cards that can be loaded with $5 to $200 of value and used for purchases at our theatre box office, concession stands, and in-theatre restaurants.  They can also be used at select online ticketing sites for purchase of movie tickets for our cinemas.

How can I purchase Gift Cards?
Purchase our Gift Cards online at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com. They are also available for purchase at your local Showcase Cinema theatre and at select retail stores.

What is a digital eGift card?
Digital gift cards are available only at the Showcase Cinemas Online Store and offer a wide variety of designs to fit your occasion.  We also offer a wide variety of card images to accompany your gift.  The digital cards will be delivered by email on the date you select and activated on the date of delivery.  You can send these cards directly to your recipients email address or send the card to your own email address, then print the card  to give as a gift.  There are no shipping and handling charges with digital gift cards.
 
What if I sent my digital gift card gift to the wrong email address?

Please email our online store customer service team and ask for the change to your order.  Please include the order number, the email address that was incorrect and the revised email address that you would like the card sent to.  Our team can be reached at onlinestore@national-amusements.com
 
What does my recipient receive when I order a digital eGift card?

When you send a digital gift card to someone they will receive an email that tells them "A gift is waiting for you!"  The email will contain a link to their gift card.  Once they click on the link they will need to enter their email address to unlock the card.  The card envelope will then open up and show them the card and message.  There will be a link for to print the card as a pdf, which will open it up in a format that is designed to be printed out.
 
How will I know when my digital gift has been received?

As the purchaser you will receive an email that tells you when your gift recipient has claimed their gift.  Your recipient may receive the email and not click the link to claim the gift, the system will email you that it has been claimed only after they click the link to claim it.

What are Corporate Prestige Movie Tickets?
Corporate Prestige Movie Tickets are discounted movie tickets that are sold in bulk to corporations with savings up to 30% off our full admission prices. Prestige Tickets are sold in packs of 50.  Perfect for business and organizations, these tickets can be used for employee incentives and rewards or can be resold to employees as an extra employee benefit.  Prestige tickets do not expire. On rare occasions use is limited for certain films or events due to contractual obligations.

How can I purchase Corporate Gift Packs?
Purchase our Corporate Gift Packs online at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com.  Corporate Gift Packs are sold in bundles of 10.

What are Corporate Gift Packs?
Corporate Gift Packs are discounted theatre gift packs sold in bulk to corporations with savings up to 30% off our full prices.  Corporate Gift Packs are sold in bundles of 10. Each Gift Pack contains vouchers for two admission tickets, two regular sized drinks and one large popcorn. 

How can I purchase Corporate Prestige Movie Tickets? 
Purchase our Corporate Prestige Movie Tickets online at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com and click on the Corporate Account located on the STORE tab.  Prestige Movie Tickets are sold in packs of 50. 

How can I purchase Gift Cards in bulk for my company? 
Purchase our Gift Cards in bulk for your business or organization online at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com and click on the Corporate Account located on the STORE tab.  Once you create a corporate account you will have access to our bulk discount products, including our Gift Cards.  .

Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases?
Purchase our Gift Cards, Gift Packs and Prestige Movie Tickets in bulk for your business or organization online at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com and click on the Corporate Orders.  Once you create a corporate account you will have access to our bulk discount products.

How do I set up a Corporate Account?

How do I process a corporate order if I want to pay by check?
Visit showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com and click on the Corporate Orders.  Check the method of payment box for pay by check and mail the check with a copy of the order (or the order #) to:

Only corporate checks are accepted.  Orders will be shipped after the check is received.

Where can I use my Gift Card?
National Amusements’ Gift Cards can be redeemed at any Showcase, Showcase Superlux, Showcase Cinema De Lux, or Multiplex Cinema. Our gift cards can also be used to purchase tickets and select refreshments for National Amusements theatres in the United States online and with the Showcase App.   Gift cards may be used for ticket and concession purchases as well as for purchases in Lux Level, Chatters, and Studio 3 in-theatre restaurants. How do I check my Gift Card balance?
To check the balance of your Gift Card please call 1-800-631-8266; this is the number noted on the back of the Gift Card. You can also check the balance on your Gift Card by visiting http://showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com/manage/checkbalance.  If you are at a National Amusements’ Showcase, Showcase SuperLux, Showcase Cinema de Lux, or Multiplex Cinema, you can get the balance information from any box office cashier or customer service representative. You can also get the balance by inserting the Gift Card into any of the lobby ticket kiosks.

My gift card has a balance but is not working, why?
The gift card will not function five years after card activation; online redemptions and balance inquiries will be unavailable. For replacement of a deactivated gift card please email us at onlinestore@national-amusements.com and provide the gift card and pin numbers of the gift card with your request.

In what amounts are Gift Cards available?
National Amusements Gift Cards can be purchased in any denomination from $5 to $200.

What happens if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Please put your Gift Card in a safe place as National Amusements is not responsible for lost or stolen cards, or for unauthorized use of a Gift Card. If your card is lost or stolen, it can only be replaced for the remaining value. As a precaution you should always write down your Gift Card and pin number in case the card is lost or stolen. You can call 800-495-6500 or email onlinestore@national-amusements.com, please have the order number, gift card number and pin available when calling and include it in your email if emailing.

What are the Gift Card Terms & Conditions?
Gift Cards may be applied to any box office or concessions purchase at our theatres. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Gift Cards will not be replaced or replenished if lost, stolen or used without your permission. Cards will be void if altered or defaced. Cards have no value until purchased. Cards are transferable. Cards are not credit/debit cards and have no implied warranties.

Do the Gift Cards, Gift Packs or Prestige Tickets expire?
No, the Gift Cards, Gift Packs and Prestige Tickets do not expire. Gift Cards are not reloadable and will become inactive 30 days after a zero balance is reached.

What are the Prestige Movie Tickets Terms & Conditions?
Each Prestige Movie Ticket must be exchanged at the box office for an admission ticket.  Not valid for telephone or online transactions.  Showcase SuperLux theatres, Lux Level, IMAX theatres, 3D films and special engagements subject to additional premium fee.  Use may be limited on rare occasions for certain films and events due to contractual obligations. Subject to seating availability.  Vouchers have no cash value.  Void if altered or reproduced in any manner.  Valid at all National Amusements’ Showcase, SuperLux, Cinema de Lux and Multiplex theatres in the Unites States.

What are my shipping options?
When ordering online you will have a variety of shipment methods available to you. 
Most orders will be processed within one business day.  A business day is considered Monday through Friday that is not a legal holiday.

Expedited orders requesting Overnight Shipping will process same day if placed before 1:00pm EST.  If placed after 1:00pm EST, orders will process on the next business day.

Is your online store ever closed?
Our online store is open 365 days a year.  The fulfillment center that ships out our physical gift cards and corporate merchandise is closed on Federal Holidays.  Orders for physical products will be delayed by one business day when there is a Federal Holiday.  The holidays include: New Year’s Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Can you deliver to a PO Box or to a Military Base?
We can only ship qualified orders (Gift Cards and Gift packs under $100) to PO Boxes and Military Bases by USPS standard mail.

What if I place an order online and I never receive it?
If you order a Gift Card or a Gift Pack online and selected USPS shipping please wait at least 10 business days for your order to arrive; USPS system has longer delivery times.  If it has been more than 10 business days since the order shipped then please contact customer support at 800-495-6500 or onlinestore@national-amusements.com.

If your order was shipped via FedEx you can track your package using either the FedEx tracking number or the Order Number.  You can click on the FedEx tracking number located in your shipping confirmation email.   Or you can enter your Order Number at showcasecinemas.ourgiftcards.com/manage/orderstatus.  

Will I receive confirmation of my order?
An order confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser once the transaction is completed.   A shipping confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser once the order is shipped.
