Early "Captain Marvel" Reaction Very Good!
“Frozen 2” Teaser Trailer Sets New Digital-viewing Record
Multiple media outlets are reporting very positive early reaction to MCU’s “Captain Marvel,” which bodes well for the film’s March 8th release. Showcase Cinemas’ advance ticket sales are also very strong, so it looks very likely that is will be the film of the late-winter window. Apparently, “Goose” the cat steals the film, so if you’re a cat lover book your tickets now!
Disney’s “Frozen 2” is not making its way to theaters until 11/22, but the teaser trailer for the film just broke the all-time online viewership of an animated film with 116.4 million views within 24 hours. It’s not even spring yet, but there’s obviously a lot of “Frozen” fans waiting to see Queen Elsa reunite with Princess Anna and Kristoff. Get ready to hear the classic song “Let it Go” again this Thanksgiving.
Speaking of classics, Showcase Cinemas’ Bring Backs program kicks off in March with the ‘90s classic film “Clueless.” It’s been nearly 25 years (“as if!”), but Cher Horowitz will be back on the big screen, with her friends Dionne and Tai, navigating the Beverly Hills High School social scene. The big question: Are you Team Christian or Team Josh? Find out March 14 or 17.
Finally, most of us agree there’s no better way to bring everyone together than by going to the movies.
