‘Frozen II” Tickets Now on Sale, Tracking for a $100+ Opening
Tickets for Disney’s highly anticipated “Frozen II” are on sale now and the film is looking like it will be a huge, Thanksgiving holiday hit! Tracking for the film is indicating at least $100 million for opening weekend on November 22, and the possibility of the biggest animated film opening outside of the summer release window. The first film opened to more than $93 million during Thanksgiving weekend 2013.

This week Warner Bros. opens Doctor Sleep,” the follow-up to Stephen King’s “The Shining,” and anticipation is high that the film will over-perform at the box office. Both Stephen King and the estate of the late Stanley Kubrick have gone on record saying that the film is a respectful tribute to both King’s 2013 novel and Kubrick’s classic 1980 film “The Shining.” The film is currently fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience score is high - so critics and audiences both seem to be loving director Mike Flanagan’s new, modern interpretation of the classic horror tale!
