Why are you relaunching Starpass? 

Our customers have told us they want an improved Starpass loyalty program that is easy to understand, simple to use and offers flexibility with choice of rewards. 

What are the new program benefits?

The key benefit is that you will earn a 10% reward on virtually every purchase. For example, a $5 reward will be issued with every $50 spent on qualifying purchases.

How do I receive credit for my purchases?

Simply provide your membership number when purchasing items in theater. Login to your account prior to buying tickets on showcasecinemas.com or enter your membership number when purchasing through our ticketing partners.

When will I receive credit for my purchases?

Credit earned from all ticket purchases made at box office, kiosk, or online will be placed into a pending status and awarded on the day following the show date of the purchased ticket(s).

Can I redeem rewards on all purchase?

You can choose to redeem rewards on eligible purchases including tickets, soft drinks and popcorn. Rewards can be used to purchase nearly all items except alcoholic beverages, gift cards, Prestige Tickets, and a Showcase Subscribe membership.

When can I redeem rewards earned?

Member rewards can be redeemed seven days a week in theater and on showcasecinemas.com. 

Will any rewards earned expire?

Rewards will expire nine months from the date in which they were issued and available to a member.

Do I have to pay to be a member?   Where is the new Starpass program available?

Membership is free and open to anyone 13 years of age and up.  Starpass will be available at all of our theater locations, including our Showcase SuperLux location in Chestnut Hill, MA. 

If I am a current Starpass member, do I need to sign up for the new program?

If you are an active Starpass member, meaning you have used the program within the last two years, your account will automatically transition to the new program.   If you are not a member or if you have an expired card, you can sign up or re-activate your account by emailing Starpass@Showcasecinemas.com.

Where am I able to see my Starpass rewards?

Rewards earned will be digitally stored on your account.  Your personal dashboard on showcasecinemas.com and our mobile app will show you the rewards you’ve earned.   Also, our theater employees will see the rewards available and ask if you would like to redeem any at that point. 

I made a purchase but forgot to show my Starpass card. Is there a way I can receive points for that purchase?

Yes, you can request a manual adjustment by contacting the Customer Service desk in theater or by emailing Starpass@showcasecinemas.com. The original ticket stubs or receipts are required to receive credit for the transactions in question. Manual adjustments will not be made for purchases made beyond thirty (30) calendar days from date of original purchase.

Are there any are the other program benefits?

Yes, registered Starpass members will receive $2 off established ticket pricing for Tuesday showtimes at participating theaters. This offer is valid through 3/16/2019 for up to a total of four tickets.


Also, registered members will receive one same-day free refill on large popcorn and large soft drink purchases.


You will also receive a free regular popcorn for your birthday. It will be loaded to your account on your date of birth and will be available 30 days after the load date.

Starpass members do not pay service fees for purchases made via our ticketing partners Fandango and Atom.

 

Can I transfer my Starpass card or rewards earned to another family member or friend to use?

Your Starpass card, and the value you have been rewarded, is non-transferable.

How do I sign up for the new program?

You can sign up by registering at showcasestarpass.com.  Or, you may pick up your Starpass card at the box office or customer service desk at a participating theater. Customers who pick up a card in theater must register the account at showcasestarpass.com

How do I get a new Starpass card if mine is lost or damaged?

You may get a replacement Starpass card from the box office or customer service desk at any participating Starpass location. You may be required to present a photo ID to receive a replacement card. Your current point total and transaction history will transfer to the new card within 72 hours of the replacement card being issued.
An alternative is to store your membership number in the Showcase Cinemas mobile app. Search for Showcase Cinemas in the App Store and Google Play.

Do I earn credit for purchasing gift cards, gift packs, or prestige tickets at the theater, online or through a third party?

You do not earn credit for purchasing gift cards, gift packs, or prestige tickets. However, you will earn credit for eligible ticket and concessions purchases paid for with gift cards, gift packs, and prestige tickets.

Will I earn Starpass credit when purchasing a Showcase Subscribe membership?

Yes, you will earn Starpass credit for the reoccurring monthly charges associated to a Showcase Subscribe membership.

Can I redeem Starpass rewards towards the purchase of a Showcase Subscribe Membership?

No, you cannot. A valid credit or debit card must used when purchasing a Showcase Subscribe Membership.

Are there any earning limitations with the new Starpass program?

Members will receive credit for up to $500.00 spent per day.
